During this time of year, many people will have the following symptoms: dry skin, dry cough, and a sore throat. According to traditional Chinese medicine, pears can promote production of bodily fluid, moisten dryness, clear away pathogenic heat through the lungs, lubricate the throat, dissolve mucus, and relieve cough.
In addition, pears are a great source of energy, can help lower cholesterol and relieve constipation.
