Meet Your Acupuncturist, Jordan Titchener

Grab a coffee, sit back and get to know Jordan Titchener, the acupuncturist behind Inner Chi Acupuncture & Wellness in Vancouver.

Best part of your job?

Building relationships and seeing my patients get better.

What do you love most about Acupuncture as a medicine?

I love how acupuncture treats the root of the illness not just the symptoms.

Tip for how to get the most out of your Acupuncture experience:

Come in hydrated and wearing loose clothing. Eat a light snack before. And don’t expect to “get fixed” after one treatment. Acupuncture is a process – it takes time.

How do you spend your days off?

Hiking beautiful BC with my family and exploring our gulf islands. You will also find me in Kitsilano walking the sea wall.

How do you take your coffee?

Straight black (coconut milk once in a while)

Daily breakfast:

Oatmeal packed with healthy super foods like chia, hemp, & flax seeds; moringa and maca powder; and either a pear or banana.

Guilty pleasure:

Pretty much every ice cream flavour at Rain or Shine

Food philosophy:

Eat anything that makes you feel good.

Daily supplements:

B complex

3 Staples always in my pantry:

Hemp hearts, Quinoa, and Chia Seeds

At least once a week I eat:

My family & Avocados

Fave workout:

Wellness habit:

Advice you would give to your younger self:

Try everything, don’t hold back, ask the tough questions

Current read on your bedside table:

The subtle art of not giving a f*ck

Best concert you have been to:

Snow patrol with guest Ed Sheeran (before he got famous)

Quote to live by:

“Change your thoughts and you’ll change your world”

If I could give just one piece of health advice it would be:

Eat whole foods, don’t restrict your diet too much. Our bodies need variety and so does our life.
